NOiV is a project that aims to promote the development and the use of open standards and Open Source software within the Dutch government. A wiki was set up in order to facilitate exchange and capitalization of knowledge in this area.

One of the main problems of the Dutch government in this context was to ensure that the solution responds to the appropriate standards of accessibility. ICTU, the organization in charge of IT projects for the Dutch government, has worked with XWiki in order to make the adjustments needed for the XWiki compliance with the accessibility standards.
