Hey, open-source friends! 🎉
It’s that time of year again—FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers' European Meeting) is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’ve been before, you know it’s where developers, contributors, and enthusiasts come together to talk shop, share ideas, and connect over everything open source.
Last year, we hosted our very first meetup, and it was such a hit that we’re back for round two! This time, we’re teaming up with our friends at Nextcloud and OpenProject to make it even better.
FOSDEM happens every year on the first weekend of February and features a wide range of tracks (or "devrooms"), talks, and workshops covering all aspects of open-source software. This year, our meetup will focus on great conversations, collaboration, and building community—you definitely won’t want to miss it!
Why should you join us?
For the past six years, we’ve co-organized the Collaboration and Content Management Devroom with some amazing projects. It’s been an incredible journey of shared ideas, inspiring talks, and growing communities. This year, we’re doubling down (well, tripling down) with a cohosted meetup that’s all about celebrating open-source wins, sharing what we’ve been working on, and connecting with you, our fantastic community.
Whether you’re curious about what’s happening behind the scenes at XWiki, CryptPad, Nextcloud, or OpenProject, or you just want to hang out with people who get why open source is awesome, this meetup is for you.
Bring your questions, bring your ideas, and most importantly, bring yourself! Oh, and did we mention there’ll be Belgian beer? 🍻
