We're happy to announce our cloud demo platform has just been updated to XWiki 11.3.5 and it brings new features and bug fixes.
Here are some of the updates that you can try on XWiki Cloud starting today.
1. Conflict warning when editing a page
Whenever you’re editing a document and another user saves that document, a window will appear warning you about the conflict.
2. Tip for links autocomplete
Typing the [ character when editing in WYSIWYG prompts autocompletion for links. This is now also mentioned in the Tips area.
3. Edit the title of the Box macro from the WYSIWYG editor
The content of the macro was already editable in the WYSIWYG editor and now we're also able to edit the title.
4. Display the page reference in the information viewer
Another cool update in XWiki Cloud 11.35 is definitely the quick retrieving of page reference, of any page, by going to the Information tab.
5. Easily edit app titles
Our users have asked for an easy way to modify the title of an app created with App Within Minutes. We've listened and titles can now be edited from the last step of the application wizard.
6. Rename an application
Following up on the previous point, apps created with App Within Minutes can also be renamed by renaming the app homepage.
7. Application pages now excluded from the Navigation panel
The top-level application pages are now excluded from the Navigation panel, so the focus goes to content pages.
8. Improved Date Filter
The look & feel of the Livetable date filter has been enhanced with some updates. You can learn more about it from the Page Index.
9. Better notifications performance
We’ve been fine-tuning the Notifications feature to improve its performance. The impact of this feature on the rest of the XWiki instance has been gradually reduced.
10. Warning when deleting users with Script rights
Wiki administrators are now warned when they are about to delete users that have Script or Programming rights. This update is a wiki-saver if there are pages that were last modified by the targeted users.
